The possibility is investigated of a spin‐glass state as the ground state of a binary Ising magnet AB which is characterized (in the nearest neighbour approximation) by the competitive exchange interactions: I AA > 0; I AB > 0; I BB > 0. It is shown that due to increase of the antiferromagnetic component B concentration c in an intermediate concentration region either a spin‐glass state occurs or the first‐order phase transition from a random ferromagnetic state into a random antiferromagnetic one occurs depending upon exchange parameter ratios and crystal lattice type.
