The significance of some transformations of the Hubbard model with an arbitrarily occupied symmetric band in a magnetic field is studied. The repulsion‐attraction transformation yields nontrivial relations between solutions of the Hubbard model with a positive and a negative correlation energy, respectively. As an example, the connection between an antiferromagnet in a magnetic field and a superconductor with a non‐half‐filled band is discussed.
