The electronic mechanism of spin‐acoustic phonon interaction is investigated in a wide band ferromagnetic semiconductor with high concentration of charge carriers at temperatures when the magnon system is highly excited. The dispersion equation for longitudinal acoustic phonons is obtained and is studied in the region of their interaction with the spectrum of the magnon branch. It is shown that the dimensionless constant of magnon‐acoustic phonon coupling in degenerate semiconductors can be larger than the ordinary magnetoelastic interaction constant and is very close to it in non‐ degenerate ones. A principal possibility to single out experimentally the electronic part in the spin‐acoustic phonon coupling constant is discussed.
