The exchange of energy between subsystems in the case when there is a great difference in the frequencies at which this exchange is possible, is treated by non‐equilibrium statistical operator method. It is shown that agreement with the experiment can be achieved taking into consideration only pair correlations when calculating the streams of energy. This fact is discussed from the viewpoint of the ergodic theory. A thermodynamic parameter is juxtaposed to the interaction between the subsystems which results in regarding interaction as energy capacity and in the Gibbs' distribution with establishment of equilibrium in the system.
