The influence of impurities on the positronium formation in molecular crystals is investigated. The intensity of the narrow component in the momentum spectrum is measured as a function of the admixture mole fraction and discussed in the framework of a simple two‐process model. The specific positronium formation times for various admixtures are found to be 3 × 10 −13 to 10 −11 s.
