A theoretical consideration is made of paraelectric resonance (PER) of hydrogen bonds (HB) in KH 2 PO 4 ‐type ferroelectrics. It is shown that the intensity of PER HB essentially increases in the external hydrostatic pressure field. The broadening mechanisms of the PER lineshape are discussed. The properties of the paraelectric phase with the tunneling states of HB, which occur in the high hydrostatic pressure field are studied. Nonresonance investigation methods of such tunneling paraelectric phase, notably the investigations of heat capacity and dielectric permittivity are considered together with the PER.
