The magnetic moment distribution is measured on two f.c.c. Cu‐Ni alloys with composition of 14 and 45 atyo Cu. The results are compared both with those of other similar materials and with the predictions of the coherent potential approximation (CPA). It is found that the composition dependence of the asphericity agrees with the CPA calculations, as it was found also for Co‐Ni and Fe‐Ni alloys. The spherical form factor is found to be contracted in both the Cu‐Ni and Co‐Ni alloys with respect to pure Ni.
