The ferromagnetic exchange constant is measured using spin‐wave resonance in eight nickel‐iron alloys with a composition range from about 55 to 95% Ni. The exchange constant A varies with composition as A = (2.25 ‐ 1.4 C Ni )erg/cm. The data are in good agreement with the values published by Wilts and Lai.
