The superhyperfine interaction (SHFI) of Mn 2+ with four nearest coordination spheres of F − environment in SrF 2 crystal is studied by means of electron nuclear double resonance (ENDOR). The SHFI constants are determined. The covalency parameters in the [MnF 8 ] 6− complex are determined for the fluorite type crystals.
