Thermodynamic Green's functional method is used to obtain the expression for the spin polarization of the conduction electrons and the d‐electrons in the presence of an external magnetic field for systems described by the truncated Anderson Hamiltonian. The behaviour of the susceptibilities χ c and χ d at low and high temperatures is determined.
