Expressions for the resonant value of a magnetic field and main characteristics of low symmetry effects have been received for the arbitrary local symmetry of a paramagnetic centre in two extremal cases of weak and strong magnetic fields (in comparison with the zero‐field splitting). All terms of the spin‐Hamiltonian allowed by the symmetry and describing the interaction with the external magnetic field and the internal electrical crystal field have been considered. Results of calculations are compared with experimental data.
