EPR investigations of the structural phase change which occurs in the compounds RbCaF a : Mn 2+ , TlCdF 3 :Fe z+ , and RbCdF 3 :Fe 3+ were made. For RbCdF 3 we have determined the critical index and measured the order parameter using two different probes, namely the Fe 3+ ion and the V k center.
