Zubarev Green's Function of the s‐f Model for Magnetic Semiconductors and Its Relation to the CPA Solution

The s‐f model for magnetic 'semiconductors is solved approximately with Zubarev's formalism without any decoupling. The solution is shown to correspond to the CPA solution for the self‐energy. Diagrams are introduced and a complete analysis of the problem is given. It is shown that the CPA solution is obtained by neglecting all diagrams which contain crossing interaction lines.
