The photoemission density of states of CuNi alloys deposited by cosputtering have been measured for hv = 40.8 eV. In contrast to previously reported measurements, the new results of superior resolution (0.3eV) are free of structure due to emission of the photoelectron into the unfilled states and are in even better agreement with the CPA calculations.
