With consideration of the Ising model a single‐axis ferromagnet is described to which a steady magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the anisotropy axis. The dispersion law for elementary excitations of such a system are derived in the extreme cases of weak and strong magnetic fields. It is shown that in the case of weak magnetic field an essential difference between quantum and classical results exists contrary to the case of strong magnetic field.
