On the question of exciton−phonon complexes in II−VI compounds

The peculiarities of the λ‐modulated reflection spectra of ZnSe and CdS lying above the exciton ionization energy and located near the energy E ex1 + h ω0 (E ex1 energy of the exciton ground state, h ω0 , energy of LO‐phonon) are investigated. The observed structures are interpreted from the point of view of the exciton‐phonon complex formation.
