The problem of multi‐ion interaction in ordered alloys is considered. Khachaturyan's theory of ordering is modified to take into account this interaction. A pseudopotential approach is developed and a procedure suggested to calculate the “main” terms of third and fourth order perturbation theory including the effects of the Fermi‐surface distortion. Expressions are found for the thermodynamic characteristics of alloys in terms of pseudo‐potentials of ion‐components.
