First Observation of Landau Levels by Electroreflectance at the E 1 and E 1 + Δ 1 Edges of InSb

Landau oscillations are observed associated with the E 1 and E 1 + Δ 1 , edges of InSb with a heterojunction surface barrier method. The periods of the first oscillations are deformed by exciton effects. Those of higher order oscillations agree with predictions of the one‐electron theory.
