From Shubnikov‐de Haas experiments a single‐valley model for the lowest conduction band of Bi 2 Se 3 was derived. The determination of non‐parabolic contributions to the ϵ( k ) relation enabled the calculation of conductivity tensor components, which should be zero in an ellipsoidal approximation. The results are compared with own measurements and earlier data, which had been interpreted in an ellipsoidal six‐valley model.
