Abstract It is shown that Hubbard's solution of the Hubbard model with inclusion of the scattering and also the broadening corrections can be written as the solution of the single‐site CPA self‐consistency condition with a continuous distribution function for the stochastic variables. The distribution function is determined and discussed.
