The free exciton g factor is measured to be equal to −9. An analysis of the magneto‐absorption and magneto‐emission data shows that the lower energy level of the bound exciton γ has Γ 6 ( J = 1/2) symmetry. A Jahn‐Teller effect on the acceptor site may explain this result. The bound hole g factor is evaluated to be equal to 0.3.
