Considering the displacement of magnetic ions up to cubic terms the temperature‐dependent Mössbauer shift has been calculated for a crystal of monoatomic lattice containing exchange coupled magnetic ions. The expression for the second order Doppler shift (SOD) is derived in the low‐ and high‐temperature limits.
