Using the s‐f exchange model the influence of the crystal field is examined on the temperature dependence of the resistivity for a Kondo system. The case of a cerium impurity ion in a lattice of cubic symmetry is considered. An exact algebraic expression for the resistivity versus temperature is obtained. Some resistivity versus T curves are reported and discussed.
