A new method for the measurement of the g ‐factor is presented. This gives a more detailed knowledge of the hole dispersion law in Sn‐doped Bi and allows to explain some experimental results obtained by Bate et al. A feature of the method is the possibility of determining whether the Landau level splitting is larger or smaller than the spin splitting.
