The Bogolyubov variational method has been applied to the investigation of the ordered phase thermodynamics for N 2 , CO, N 2 O, and CO 2 crystals in the molecular field approximation. The libron heat capacity, the ordering parameter, and the libration excitation energy have been calculated for the whole range of the ordered phase. The orientational disordering temperature has also been estimated. The theoretical results have been compared with experimental data.
