The hyperfine magnetic fields acting at As nuclei in ferromagnetic Fe, Co, and Ni hosts were measured using perturbed angular correlation technique. Radioactive 75 Se atoms were implanted into the ferromagnetic backings by means of a mass separator. The 121–280 keV γ–γ cascade in the decay of 75 Se was used for the measurements. Values of the magnetic field at As in Fe, Co, and Ni of (318.8 ± 32.7), (248.9 ± 27.6), and (87.5 ± 9.9) kG, respectively, were obtained. The magnetic fields were found to be proportional to the host magnetic moments.
