The dependence of the Hall coefficient and conductivity of mercury telluride crystals on the magnetic field has been investigated at temperatures 4.2, 77, and 300 K. The results are explained with the assumption that the transport phenomena are caused not only by electrons and holes but also by additional low mobility carriers. These additional low mobility carriers are assigned to an impurity band.
