The pseudo‐binary Cu 3 Au type ordered alloys Fe(Pd x Pt 1− x ) 3 are described using a Heisenberg Hamiltonian. The free energy and the sublattice magnetization are calculated in the molecular field approximation at T = 0 and near the transition to the paramagnetic state for all values of x (0 ≦ x ≦ 1). For special values of the parameters full agreement is obtained with the experimental results including the quadruple point. In other cases some other interesting results are obtained.
