NMR‐signals from an oriented lead single crystal were obtained at 4.2 K for the [001] and [110] direction parallel to the magnetic field. A spectrometer with a superconducting magnet and digital data acquisition was used. The orientation dependence of the second moments of the line was employed to determine the value of the pseudodipolar coupling constant B ( rij ) for the first two shells of nearest neighbours.
