The effect of phonon drag on the thermoelectric properties of n‐type Si is studied. Basing on the theory of anisotropic scattering, the influence of elastic deformations on the ther‐niopower at low temperatures is considered. The role of different scattering mechanisms for elcctrons and phonons is discussed. The theoretical results are compared with the experimental data of papers [3] and 191.
