The dynamics of emcrgy transfer processes in solids are treated theoratically under the following assumptions: 1. All microscopic processes involved are incoherent. 2. The corresponding interactions are short. ranged. 3. The diffusion of the excited states in the system of the donors is the process limiting the energy transfer. The fluorescence decays of the donors and acceptors after a δ‐shaped excitation arc given, and discussed as a function of the two parameters of the theoretical model.
