The dynamic susceptibility of an itinerant antiferromagnetic metal is calculated in the random phase approximation in an external magnetic field. The model used applies to metallic chromium below its spin‐flip temperature. The static limit of the susceptibility is obtained for both the long‐wavelength limit and the wave vector Q of the spin density wave. The spin‐wave dispersion relation is obtained for both the above limits.
