The phonon frequencies, Grüneisen parameters, binding energy, compressibility, spin susceptibility, and the elastic constants of crystalline lead and the electrical resistivity and the thermoelectric power of lead in the liquid state are calculated using a model pseudo‐potential, recently proposed having two adjustable parameters. Kohn anomalies show up in the calculated phonon dispersion and Grüneisen parameter curves.
