Results are presented of a study of the Hall effect (in the low‐temperature range 20 to 300 °K) and of the thermopower of the monocarbides VC x , NbC x , and TaC x within the limits of their homogeneity regions. Basing on the experimental results obtained and on earlier data on magnetic susceptibility and electric resistivity, the electronic spectrum of non‐stoichiometric monocarbides is discussed on the basis of presentations suggested in a previous paper [1].
