Nanoporous anodic alumina matrices have been used by Gennady Gorokh et al. (article number 1900283 ) as templates for the deposition of multicomponent metal oxide films of various compositions. The cover shows 12 electron microscopic images illustrating different types of the cellular‐porous structure morphology of the anodic alumina matrices, some of them with already deposited metal oxide films. The individual stages of the filling process and the modification of metal oxide films are schematically shown in the sketches. The composition of the obtained films is characterized by the displayed spectra.
