Iron‐based superconductors feature a rich set of intriguing magnetic, electronic and structural phases. In case of EuFe 2 As 2 additional localized Eu 4f moments are introduced, that interact with the Fe 3d moments. As shown in the Feature Article by Maiwald and Gegenwart (article no. 1600150 ), the interplay between these moments leads to interesting new phases upon chemical doping and application of pressure. For P‐doped EuFe 2 As 2 , this includes a narrow superconducting dome and a change from antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic 4f ordering. Furthermore, an indirect magnetoelastic coupling between the magnetic sublattices leads to a persistent, structural detwinning in EuFe 2 As 2 upon applying a very small magnetic field of order 0.1 T only.
