Spin reorientation phase transitions (RPTs) in magnetostatically coupled low‐anisotropy ultrathin multilayers (MLs) have been studied. The RPT conditions were established and applied in a simple analytical model to describe spin reorientation between in‐plane and out‐of‐plane magnetic phases. The proposed model has been found to be in good agreement with micromagnetic simulations. It was also shown how the magnetization orientation of MLs could be manipulated by choosing their geometrical and magnetic parameters.
