The Green function theory is used to study theoretically the magnetic reorientation phase transition (MRPT) in a two‐sublattice ferrimagnetic monolayer, with spin S A and S B at the sublattice A and B sites, respectively. The result is that MRPT in the sublattices A and B occurs at different reorientation temperatures. We can assume that presented model confirms the possibility of two magnetic phases in ferrimagnetic systems.
