We present Raman spectra and resonance profiles of single wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) with and without incorporated β‐carotene molecules. We show that the encapsulation of β‐carotene has only a slight effect on the the vibrational properties of SWCNT in the diameter range from 1.2 to 1.4 nm. We observe an intensity decrease as well as a slight upshift of the RBM frequency. The maximum position of the resonance profile in terms of excitation energy is unaltered.
