A quantitative purity evaluation of single‐wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) using resonance Raman spectroscopy was proposed. Linearity between purity and G‐band Raman intensity of isolated SWCNT solution was confirmed and quantitative purity was evaluated directly from an intensity ratio of pristine and high‐purity SWCNTs prepared by ultracentrifugation. We confirmed that the purity evaluated by Raman intensity of pristine and ultracentrifuged topping of SWCNTs [purity evaluated by Raman intensity of pristine and ultracentrifuged topping of single‐wall carbon nanotubes (PERIPUTOS)] gave the same value for the different laser wavelengths and could be applied to any kinds of SWCNT.
