The Editors would like to inform our readers that the article “Ferroelectric anisotropy of sol–gel‐derived Bi 3.15 Nd 0.85 Ti 3 O 12 thin films on SrTiO 3 single‐crystal substrates” by Chen and Yang 1, published online in October 2007, has been retracted by agreement between the authors and the editors of physica status solidi.
