The ferroelectric phase transitions of LiNaGe 4 O 9 , Li 1.1 Na 0.9 Ge 4 O 9 , Li 1.2 Na 0.8 Ge 4 O 9 and Li 1.7 Na 0.3 Ge 4 O 9 crystals were studied. Experiments were carried out by means of classical dielectric measurements and using an AC calorimetric specific‐heat measuring system. Critical behaviour is explained within Landau theory.
