It has been demonstrated in recent experimental and theoretical studies, that δ‐Pu exhibits highly anisotropic phonon properties. The present paper indicates, that properties related to low‐energy phonons such as Debye temperature and activation energy of self‐diffusion do not reflect these anisotropies, and obey the same laws as other face‐centred cubic metals.
