The 63 Cu NMR spectrum parameters are, within the experimental accuracy, the same for the undeformed as for the in the 〈100〉 av direction up to the elastic limit stretched copper foil of cubic texture. Our results with the application of the Sholl and Béal‐Monod and Kohn theories of the quadrupole effect in metals give an upper limit for the enhancement factor α ≦ 25.
