TCNQ powders show an electron spin resonance with a g ‐value of 1.9916 which varies very slightly with temperature. The peak‐to‐peak linewidth is constant at higher temperatures and increases upon cooling below about 260 °K. The temperature variation of the signal intensity gives spin activation energies of 0.06 and 0.03 eV.
