Polycrystalline NiAl which had been plastically deformed at a high temperature has been examined using transmission electron microscopy. It is shown that, in addition to the dislocations of b = 〈100〉, which have been identified by other workers, dislocations of b = 〈110〉 and 〈111〉 contribute to the high temperature plasticity.
