The magnetic reversal in inhomogeneous iron and coarse grained cobalt films was investigated at 300 and 4 °K by Lorentz microscopy. The strong increase of the wall coercive field with decreasing temperature results in nucleation of numerous reversed domains at low temperature thus considerably changing the wall motion.
