The problem of non‐adiabatic transition within an impurity centre is considered in the presence of dynamic diffusion of the vibrational wave‐packet. Using the term‐interaction constant as expansion parameter limits are found for the applicability of perturbation theory depending on the dispersion of the vibrations.
