An investigation has been made of both the luminescence (λ m = 1.1 μm) and photo‐conductivity in not intentionally doped photosensitive InSe single crystals. It is shown that the luminescence is due to the emissive capture of free electrons by sensitizing recombination centres. The parameters of the luminescence centres, namely concentration, energetic position, and both electron and hole capture cross‐sections have been determined.
