The diffusion of Kr and Xe in SrF 2 and BaF 2 has been studied after reactor neutron irradiation using both pure single crystals and single crystals doped with uranium. The activation energies for migration of Kr and Xe in SrF 2 are 1.2 and 3.7 eV, in BaF 2 1.5 and 3.5 eV, respectively. The results are discussed and compared with results on CaF 2 .
